Description
Acnecide Face 5% w/w Gel is a topical acne treatment containing 5% benzoyl peroxide. It is specifically indicated for mild facial acne where blackheads and whiteheads are the main concern, with few or no inflamed spots. Benzoyl peroxide helps reduce acne-causing bacteria and supports the removal of dead skin cells.

Instructions
Cleanse and thoroughly dry the affected skin before application. Initially, apply a thin layer once daily before bedtime. If well tolerated after 2–3 days, use twice daily, morning and evening. Sensitive skin should generally be treated once daily.
Warnings
For external use only. Avoid the eyes, mouth, nostrils and other sensitive areas. Do not apply to damaged or irritated skin. Benzoyl peroxide may cause dryness, peeling or irritation and can bleach hair and coloured fabrics. Avoid prolonged sun or UV exposure and use sunscreen. Do not combine with other acne treatments unless advised by a doctor. Seek medical advice if acne worsens or does not improve within 12 weeks.
