Description

Blepha EyeBag is a reusable, microwavable warming eye mask designed to provide soothing heat for dry, tired and uncomfortable eyes, particularly where symptoms are associated with Meibomian Gland Dysfunction (MGD) and blepharitis. The gentle warming action helps soften and release oils from the meibomian glands, supporting a healthier tear film and helping relieve symptoms such as gritty sensations, stinging, redness, sore or swollen eyelids and eye discomfort. It is handmade from natural silk and cotton and filled with untreated flax (linseed), with no plastic or added ingredients.

Instructions

Before first use, heat the Blepha EyeBag for 1 minute on full microwave power, then allow it to cool completely. For subsequent uses, heat from room temperature according to your microwave: 30 seconds for microwaves above 750W or 40 seconds for 750W and below. Shake the mask gently to distribute the linseeds and heat evenly. Always test the temperature against your wrist before applying. Place the comfortably warm mask over closed eyes for 5–10 minutes. After warming, gently massage the closed eyelids for around 30 seconds to help release the softened oils. For the first two weeks, use twice daily, ideally morning and evening; afterwards, use around 3–4 times per week or as advised by your eye-care professional.

Warnings

Always check the temperature before placing the mask over your eyes to avoid burns. Only heat the mask according to the manufacturer’s microwave instructions and never reheat it while it is already hot. Do not heat a wet mask, as this may cause scalding. Remove glasses and contact lenses before use. Do not use if the skin around the eyes is broken or bleeding, or if you have a known sensitivity to flax or linseed. Use with caution if you have rosacea, as heat may increase redness. The linseeds are not food grade and must not be swallowed. Do not share the mask with other people. Keep out of the sight and reach of children and stop use if irritation or symptoms worsen.
