Galpharm Bite and Sting Relief 1% Cream 10g is a topical hydrocortisone cream formulated to relieve the itching, irritation and inflammatory reaction associated with insect bites and stings. It contains Hydrocortisone 1% w/w, a mild corticosteroid that helps reduce inflammation and associated discomfort. Instructions for Use
- Read the patient information leaflet carefully before use.
- Apply the cream sparingly over a small affected area.
- Gently smooth the cream onto the skin.
- Use once or twice daily as required.
- Treatment should be limited to a maximum of 2–3 days.
- Wash your hands after application unless the hands are the affected area.
- If symptoms do not improve after 2–3 days, or become worse, consult a doctor or pharmacist.
Warnings & Precautions
For external use only. Do not use on children under 10 years of age. Do not apply to the eyes, face, ano-genital region, broken or infected skin, acne, scabies, or infected bites and stings.
Do not use during pregnancy unless advised by a doctor. Stop treatment if you experience signs of hypersensitivity or an allergic reaction. Do not use for bites or stings other than those specified on the product information, or for unrelated skin conditions.
Avoid prolonged or excessive use. If the condition does not improve within 2–3 days, or if symptoms worsen, seek medical advice. Keep out of the sight and reach of children. Always read the enclosed patient information leaflet and product label before use.
