Description

Murine Hayfever Relief Eye Drops contain sodium cromoglicate 2% w/v, an anti-allergy medicine used for the relief and treatment of eye symptoms caused by hayfever. They help reduce the allergic response responsible for uncomfortable symptoms such as itchy, red, sore and watery eyes, making them suitable for seasonal hayfever-related eye irritation.

Instructions

Adults, including the elderly, and children over 6 years: Place 1–2 drops into each eye, 4 times daily. Wash your hands before use, tilt your head back and gently pull down the lower eyelid. Apply the drops without allowing the bottle tip to touch the eye or eyelid, then blink a few times. Replace the cap securely after use. If your eyes are not better after 2 days, consult your doctor or pharmacist. Do not use continuously for more than 14 days without advice from a doctor or pharmacist.

Warnings

For use in the eyes only. Do not use if you are sensitive or allergic to sodium cromoglicate, benzalkonium chloride or any other ingredient. Do not use while wearing soft contact lenses, as the product contains benzalkonium chloride, which can irritate the eye and may discolour soft contact lenses. Remove lenses before application and follow the product leaflet regarding when they can be replaced. Mild stinging or temporary blurred vision may occur after application. Stop use and seek medical advice if symptoms become worse, severe irritation occurs or you experience signs of an allergic reaction. Consult your doctor or pharmacist if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, taking other medicines or have an underlying eye condition. After opening, discard the bottle after 28 days and store below 25°C. Keep out of the sight and reach of children. Always read the label and leaflet before use.
