Description

Optrex Hayfever Relief Eye Drops 10ml contains sodium cromoglicate 2% w/v, an anti-allergy medicine specifically formulated to relieve and treat eye symptoms caused by hayfever. They provide soothing relief from common hayfever eye symptoms including itching, redness, soreness and watering. Sodium cromoglicate helps prevent the release of substances responsible for the allergic response in the eyes.

Instructions

Adults and children over 6 years: Gently squeeze 1–2 drops into each eye, 4 times daily. Wash your hands before use and avoid touching the dropper tip against the eye or surrounding skin. Replace the cap securely after use.

Warnings

For use in the eyes only. Do not exceed the stated dose. Do not use while wearing soft contact lenses, as the product contains benzalkonium chloride, which may irritate the eyes and can discolour soft contact lenses. Remove contact lenses before application and wait at least 15 minutes before reinserting them. Do not use if you are allergic or sensitive to any of the ingredients. Consult your doctor or pharmacist if symptoms do not begin to improve within 2 days, or before using continuously for more than 14 days. Seek advice before use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. After opening, store below 25°C and discard 28 days after first opening. Keep out of the sight and reach of children. Always read the label and leaflet before use.
