Savlon Bites & Stings Pain Relief Gel 20g is a multi-action medicinal gel formulated to provide symptomatic relief from pain, itching and irritation caused by insect bites and stings. It can also be used for skin reactions such as nettle rash caused by contact with plants. The gel combines lidocaine hydrochloride, zinc sulphate and cetrimide to help relieve discomfort while providing antiseptic protection.
The easy-to-apply gel is suitable for adults and children aged 12 years and over. Its combination of ingredients provides a convenient option for treating the discomfort associated with everyday insect bites and stings, making it useful to keep in a home first-aid kit or when travelling outdoors.

Instructions for Use
- Read the enclosed patient information leaflet carefully before use.
- Apply a small amount of gel to the affected area using a clean fingertip.
- Gently spread over the affected area.
- Repeat if required, up to 3–4 times daily.
- Wash hands after application unless the affected area is on the hands.
If symptoms persist or worsen, or if you experience unwanted effects, stop using the gel and consult your doctor or pharmacist.
Warnings & Precautions
For external use only. Do not swallow. Do not use Savlon Bites & Stings Pain Relief Gel if you are allergic to any of its ingredients. It is not suitable for children under 12 years and should not be used for animal bites. Avoid contact with the eyes.
The product contains 10% w/w propylene glycol, which may cause skin irritation. Rarely, skin irritation or sensitisation may occur. Stop using the product if irritation or other unwanted effects develop and speak to a doctor or pharmacist if symptoms persist. Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
Do not store above 30°C and do not use after the expiry date. Once opened, do not use the gel more than 3 months after opening. If the gel is accidentally swallowed, contact a doctor or local emergency department immediately. Always read the product leaflet and label before use.
